PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, inexpensive and new kneading apparatus for defibrating and kneading a material without using another defibrating unit. SOLUTION: This kneading apparatus has a rotary agitating body (3) for agitating the material in a kneading tank (2) and a fixed defibrating body (7) disposed on the surface of the inner wall of the tank (2) and a rotary defibrating body (6) fit to a rotary shaft (4) of the body (3) so that the material is defibrated in the tank (2) by rotating the body (6) with respect to the body (7).
