PURPOSE: A telescopic device for a steering column of a vehicle is provided to connect a connecting rod to have regular fixing force for a movement of an operating lever by installing locking blocks to supply fixing force of telescopic inner and outer portions in several positions. CONSTITUTION: A telescopic device for a steering column of a vehicle includes a locking block(14), a connecting rod(16), and a combining member. The locking block is embedded to block cases(12) of a telescopic outer portion(20). The connecting rod is introduced to connect locking blocks to constrict a movement of the locking block. The combining member contacts the locking block to move the locking block along a slant lower surface of the block case by a movement of a telescopic lever(18). A tip of the telescopic lever and a tip of the connecting rod are introduced to the combining member. A separation preventing member(16a) is introduced to the tip of the connecting rod. Thereby, a length of a steering shaft(24) is adjusted by fixing or withdrawing and inserting the telescopic inner portion to the telescopic outer portion.
