PURPOSE: A device for mounting a handle for a refrigerator is provided to reduce costs by significantly reducing plated area, while preventing current leakage in the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A device for mounting a handle(50) to a front surface(40) of a door, comprises a mounting ring member(70) for accommodating and fixing an end of the handle, which has a plated surface; and a handle base(60) made of a synthetic resin material, which has an end inserted and fixed in the mounting ring member and the other end fixed to the front surface of the door. The end of the handle base is inserted and fixed in the handle which is accommodated into the mounting ring member. The handle and the handle base are coupled in the mounting ring member through a single screw(Sc), and the other end of the handle base is coupled to the front surface of the door through a screw(Sd).
