PURPOSE: A fixing device for an expansion joint is provided to conspicuously improve the efficiency of execution of work for construction expansion joints ,moreover to obtain a quality expansion joint among concrete structures. CONSTITUTION: The fixing device for an expansion joint contains: a fixing plate(12) rising vertically and expanded from a contact plate(11); a one-sided built-up member(10) containing a groove(13) sectionalized by the first and the second horizontal plates(14,15); an other one-sided built-up member(20) containing a projection(23) inserted to the groove, therefore those too built-up members are fitted each other and generate a fixing groove(30) for an expansion joint, consequently the expansion joint gets tight among concrete structures without any variation and dislocation and not necessary to be fixed to a steel form(4), in addition a high quality expansion joint is assured.
