APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING CIRCULAR COIL IN COIL WINDING PROCESS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for supporting circular coil in coil winding process is provided to prevent facility breakdown of coil winder and prevent quality deterioration of coil finished product by preventing various coil defects generated when coil wound on a coil cone tube is dropped onto coil plate at a time while mandrel is rotated in coil winder. CONSTITUTION: In a coil supporting apparatus for receiving coil dropped from a cone tube during swing operation of mandrel in wire rod winding process, the apparatus for supporting circular coil in coil winding process comprises a disk shaped body(10) which is inserted onto the outer side of the mandrel(130) and has smaller diameter than the inner diameter of coil gates(120) so that the disk shaped body(10) is movable vertically at the inner side of the coil gates(120) along the mandrel(130); clamps(35) installed at both sides of the lower surface of the body(10) so that the clamps(35) are connected to a plural fixed protrusions(30) projected from swing shaft of the mandrel(130); a plural fixed pins(70) formed downward on the lower surface of the body(10) so that the plural fixed pins(70) are respectively inserted into grooves(140a) in front of a coil plate(140), and a wire rod coil is received onto the upper surface of the plural fixed pins(70) from cone tube as the plural fixed pins(70) are being ascended or descended along the mandrel(130) by the coil plate(140).
