LOST FOAM PATTERN CASTING METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily deciding a casting plan with which the optimum exhaust of generated gas can be obtained in a lost foam pattern casting method. SOLUTION: This lost foam pattern casting method is the one, in which the casting is performed while exhausting the gas generated by losing the pattern to the outer part of a mold through an exhausting passage providing an exhaust gas restraining means when molten metal is poured into the mold embedding the synthetic resin foaming material-made pattern into molding sand and a product is cast while losing this pattern with the molten metal. A ventilation in the exhausting passage is controlled based on at least material and shape of this pattern and kind and temperature of the molten metal.
