PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact torque transmission device in a constitution of a torque transmission system wherein a motor generator is arranged on a transmission side from a torque converter. SOLUTION: This torque transmission device 1 for transmitting torque from an output shaft 81 of an engine 8 to the transmission 9 is provided with the torque converter 11, the motor generator 61 capable of giving and receiving the torque to and from a transmission shaft 91, and a planetary gear device 71 for connecting the torque of the transmission shaft 91 and the motor generator 61. A commutator stator 21 of the torque converter 11 is mainly constituted of a circular stator carrier 21a, and a plurality of stator blades 21b provided on an outer peripheral surface of the stator carrier 21a. The stator carrier 21a is supported on a planetary carrier 72 of the planetary gear device 71 through a one-way clutch 25.
