PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a constitution and to reduce cost, in a core automatic supply type winding device for a slitter. SOLUTION: Plural pairs of winding arms 1 are disposed in a prescribed direction. End holders 5 and carriages 7 are provided on the winding arms 1. Cores 3 of the end holders 5 are received and supported by the plural pairs of carriages 7 between each pair of winding arms 1. Engagement members are provided on the carriages 7 and are engaged to an upper surface of a bar 12. Each pair of carriages 7 are elevated and lowered by the common bar 12. The cores 3 are lowered up to positions of chuck mechanisms 2. Both ends of the cores 3 are chucked by the chuck mechanisms 2.
