PURPOSE: An object sensor of a mobile terminal is provided to measure a distance between himself/herself and an object and allow a driver to recognize a rear distance when he drives backward. CONSTITUTION: An oscillator(21) outputs an oscillation frequency to a transmitter(22). A laser sensor of the transmitter(22) outputs a periodical output waveform. A receiver(23) receives ultrasonics wave or laser and converts it into an electric signal to output it to an amplifier(24). The amplifier amplifies the electric signal to a certain level. A comparator(25) compares the amplified electric signal with a reference signal. An output signal of the comparator(25) is latched to a flipflop(26). The signal latched to the flipflop(26) is inputted to an MSM(Mobile Station Modem)(28) through a relay unit(27). The MSM processes the received signal to a digital signal, calculates a distance from a user to an object and outputs the distance information to the relay(27). A motor/buzzer(29) receives the distance information and outputs a vibration signal or an audio signal in proportion to the distance. A counter(30) receives the distance and outputs a numerical in proportion to the distance on a display unit(31).
