LUBRICATING SYSTEM FOR HERMETIC RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A lubricating system for a hermetic reciprocating compressor is provided to reduce abrasion and friction noises by supplying a sufficient quantity of lubricating oil to each slide part of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A lubricating system comprises a main oil passage(21) penetrating in an axial direction through the interior of an eccentric portion(2) of a crank shaft(1) in such a manner that the main oil passage is communicated to an oil pickup tube(20) which is connected to the eccentric portion of the crank shaft; the first oil passage(22) formed at the outer surface of the eccentric portion of the crank shaft, which supplies lubricating oil to the slide part between the eccentric portion and a larger diameter portion(4) of a connecting rod(3); the second oil passage(23) formed at the crank shaft and communicated to the main oil passage, which supplies lubricating oil to the slide part between the crank shaft and a bearing(5); the third oil passage(24) formed in the connecting rod and communicated to the first oil passage, which supplies lubricating oil to the slide part between a small diameter portion(6) of the connecting rod and a piston pin(7) and the slid part between the inner surface of a bore of a cylinder block(8) and a piston(9); the fourth oil passage(25) penetrating through the cylinder block in such a manner that the lubricating oil falling from the slide part between the crank shaft and the bearing after lubrication is supplied to the slide part between the inner surface of the bore of the cylinder block and the piston; and the fifth oil passage(26) formed at the piston pin in such a manner that the lubricating oil being supplied through the fourth oil passage is partially supplied to the slide part between the small diameter portion of the connecting rod and the piston pin.
