PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter introducer in which sheathed hubs and dilator hubs can be locked so as not to be removed and the burr of the distal end of the sheath can be avoided. SOLUTION: The catheter introducer (1) comprises the sheath (2) having the sheathed hubs (5), (45) at a rear side, and a dilator (3) having flanges (10), (30) and (30A) cut at an upper part at a front side or a flange (30B) formed on the entire periphery and the dilator hubs (9), (39). The introducer (1) further comprises arms (24), (34) formed at substantially intermediate abdominal parts of the outer peripheries of the dilator hubs (9), (39) via at least one or more coupling pieces (26), (36), locking pawls (24A), (34A) formed at the distal ends of the arms (24), (34), pressing parts (25), (35) formed on the rear end, and gripping parts (29), (39) mounted at the bottoms of the hubs (9), (39). |
