PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift device capable of changing the direction of an elevating arm 6 without changing the direction of a carriage to easily change the direction of a sick person or the like in suspending the sick person or the like by the elevating arm 6 to be transferred, stably holding weight of the sick person or the like by a support arm 4 as well as the carriage 1 since the support arm 4 is rotatable sideways when the elevating arm 6 is rotated sideways, securely supporting the sick person or the like to keep stability with similar weight balance constantly regardless of a rotation position of the elevating arm 6, and enabling nursing care to be more easily conducted using the lift device for nursing care. SOLUTION: The elevating arm 6 is supported by the carriage 1 to be rotatable sideways. The support arm 4 is supported by the carriage 1 under the elevating arm 6 to be rotatable sideways. A support 2 to interlock the elevating arm 6 and the support arm 4 with each other is provided to keep relative positional relationship of the support arm 4 to the elevating arm 6 constant. |
