PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of clamping in a clamping device for a tile which clamps the tile by pressing it on a conveyor. SOLUTION: The clamping device 4 for the tile which clamps the tile T by pressing it on the conveyor 2 is constituted by combining a clamping member 14 having a clamping execution part 12 having a width equal to or narrower than the tile T and a follower 13 for a cam, with a cam member 17 fitted fixedly to a device frame 1 supporting the conveyor 2. A large number of clamping members 14 are made continuous in an endless state to form a clamping belt 15, while the clamping belt 15 is so constituted that it can go around on a prescribed track in relation to the device frame 1. The cam member 17 acting on the follower 13 for the cam is provided on the track whereon the follower 13 passes and in an area wherein the tile T is to be clamped, and the action that the follower 13 receives from the cam member 17 is converted into a clamping force of the clamping execution part 12.
