PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a hot-rolling line by which high-strength products are obtained and the high-strength products having few scale pressing-in defects caused by a leveler are manufactured. SOLUTION: In this the hot-rolling line for metallic strips, a finishing mill, the leveler, and cooling equipment are arranged in this order from the upstream side toward the downstream side and spray nozzles with which liquid is jetted toward the surfaces of the metallic strip are attached to the leveler. The spray nozzles can be strip cooling nozzles, descaling nozzles or nozzles having both actions, but the nozzles having both the actions are preferable.
