PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a usable moxibustion device capable of adjusting the temperature and utilizing the penetration action of medical effective components. SOLUTION: The whole moxibustion device 1 is mode of ceramics. A handle part 7 is attached to the side surface of a cylindrical container 2 whose top is open, and ventilation holes 8a-8c for herb smoke ventilation are formed in the container 2. A projection 10 engaged with a medical herb is formed on the inner bottom 2a of the container 2 to form a medical herb storage part 9'. The moxibustion device 1 also has a lid 3 for closing the top opening 4 of the container 2, and ventilation holes 14 for herb smoke ventilation and a through-hole 17 for the temperature adjustment are formed on the lid 3.
