PURPOSE: A transmission power measuring apparatus of mobile telecommunication base station is provided to be capable of measuring a final output strength at a state where a coupled transmission output signal of a base station is converted into a digital signal. CONSTITUTION: A band pass filter(1) filters a coupled final output signal of a base station by a directional coupler(20). A mixer(2A) down-converts an output signal of the band pass filter into a local frequency and outputs an intermediate frequency signal. An SAW band pass filter(3) receives the intermediate frequency signal from the mixer and filters a signal of a specific channel to measure. An attenuator and amplifier block(4,5) adjusts a gain of the filtered signal of the specific channel. An analog-digital converter(7) samples the gain-adjusted analog signal and outputs sample data. A digital signal processor(80) digitalizes an output signal of the analog-digital converter and stores and outputs an average power. A central processing device(9) receives the average power from the digital signal processor and compensates the received average power according to a temperature characteristic to display a strength of an output signal.
