PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily seal a cylindrical part 8a in a motor-driven retractable mirror when lead wires 12b piercing through an oscillation support shaft 11a disposed in a storage chamber 7 are inserted into the cylindrical part 8a formed in a cover body 8. SOLUTION: An elastic foaming sheet material is made to be a seal material 13, which is shaped so that the winding start end 13a of the seal material is narrow and the winding finish end 13b is wide. The seal material 13 is spirally wound around the lead wires 12b by using adhesive double coated tapes 14 and 15 in a fusiform shape, and the wound seal material 13 is forced/inserted into the cylindrical part 8a.
