摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correcting method of the density of a recorded image which reduces a tailing phenomenon after printing of a high density part and a void due to an excess of correction. SOLUTION: This method has a process wherein impressed image data and image gradation boundary data set beforehand are compared in size with each other at every heating element, a process wherein the cases of the image data being larger than the image gradation boundary data are counted for each heating element until the former becomes equal to or smaller than the latter, so as to acquire a cumulative count value, a process wherein in the case of the image data being larger than the image gradation boundary data, image gradation data are counted until the image data become equal to or smaller than the image gradation boundary data, so as to calculate a cumulative image gradation data value, a process wherein an image average gradation data value of a counted part is acquired from the cumulative count value and the cumulative image gradation data value, and a process which is provided with a correction coefficient table formed by setting a correction coefficient determined for each combination of the cumulative count value with the image average gradation data value and wherein correction of the density is executed.
