PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cover plate of a shear mode inkjet head in which stabilized high speed ejection can be realized by enhancing the machining accuracy of an ink supply section communicating with each ink channel, and to make possible mass production of ink jet head. SOLUTION: The shear mode inkjet head is formed by pasting cover plates cut out from a rectangular ceramic block having holes for ink supply part communicating with a plurality of ink channels formed by pasting the machined plane of a first rectangular block having a rectangular recess machine in one face, and the smooth plane of a second rectangular block.
