PURPOSE: Dry state detecting structure for a clothes drier is provided to detect the dry state of dried material precisely with compact structure, and to dry the material optimally by detecting displacement voltage with electrodes and difference between displacement voltage and apply voltage. CONSTITUTION: A dry state detecting system of a clothes drier comprises a body having a control unit; a door opening the body; a drum(21) having a dry chamber; an input electrode unit(100) installed around the drum and made of conductive material to detect the dry state of dried material in the dry chamber by applying voltage to the drum according to the control signal from the control unit; contact electrode units(200) installed in the drum at 180 angular degrees, conducted to the drum, and contacted to the dried material to detect voltage according to the dry state; an insulating unit(300) installed between the contact electrode unit and the drum to restrict transmission of voltage; a fixing member(400) fastening the contact electrode unit to the insulating unit firmly; an output electrode unit(500) connected electrically to the contact electrode unit to transmit voltage to the control unit and installed around the drum; and a detecting unit(600) having an input detecting member(601) and an output detecting unit(602) contacted to input and output electrode units to detect voltage displaced from the output electrode unit and voltage applied to the input electrode unit and transmit the signal to the control unit. The dry state of the dried material is detected accurately with compact structure. |
