PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to maintain freshness of the vegetable stored in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator by preventing outflow of the moisture of the vegetable compartment. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a main body(1) divided into a freezing compartment(10) and a refrigerating compartment(20) by a separating wall(16), and which has a cooling unit for generating cooling air to be supplied to the freezing compartment and the refrigerating compartment; a refrigerating compartment cooling air guide channel(15) for guiding the cooling air generated from the cooling unit to the refrigerating compartment; a divider wall(24) mounted in the refrigerating compartment and which defines a vegetable compartment(23); a vegetable compartment cooling air guide channel(25) communicated to the refrigerating compartment cooling air guide channel and extended into the divider wall, and which condenses the vapor existing in the vegetable compartment at the outer surface of the divider wall; and a cooling air suction channel formed at the bottom surface of the vegetable compartment and the rear surface of the refrigerating compartment, and which guides the cooling air discharged through the vegetable compartment cooling air guide channel toward the cooling unit such that the guided cooling air is re-cooled.
