PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising seedling system for securing the transplantable seedling of Phragmites communis (scientific name) in large quantities in a short time. SOLUTION: This raising seedling system 1 of Phragmites communis roughly comprises a nursery bed 2, water supply devices 3 to supply water to the nursery bed and a reservoir 4 for germination and rooting. The nursery bed 2 is filled with water 17 and a jute bag 41 as a biodegradable water permeable holder holding a nursery bed material 16 is arranged in the nursery bed so as to upward expose the inside of the jute bag. The water supply devices 3 are composed of an open water tank 6 to reserve water drawn from a river (not illustrated) as water source and a water supply pipe 5 to make the open water tank communicate with the nursery bed 2. Water supplied from the water supply devices 3 flows into the nursery bed 2 and the reservoir 4 for germination and rooting. |
