PURPOSE: A display device and an optimum display method thereof are provided to optimize the display device according to the kind of each video card by processing a video signal with signal processing parameters optimized to a present video card. CONSTITUTION: A storing part(40) stores signal processing parameters for optimally processing a video signal corresponding to each video card. A registration part(51) registers the signal processing parameters to a predetermined video card(11). A signal processor(50) processes the video signals according to the signal processing parameters registered at the registration part and transmits the processed video signals to a display part(70). A control part(30) receives kind information of the predetermined video card for reading the signal processing parameters corresponding to the kind of the video card to be registered at the registration part.
