FERMENTATION METHOD FOR ORGANIC WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To subject a large amount of organic waste to fermentative decomposition over a relatively short period of time without using plant facilities consuming a large quantity of energy and also restricted in scale and to also facilitate a treatment process. SOLUTION: A sub-material based on broken woody pieces and a fermentation auxiliary material are mixed in a predetermined ratio to form a ridge 1 and organic waste is charged in the ridge 1 and, if necessary, a fermentation accelerating material is added thereto and a ridge is again formed to deposit the organic waste on the ridge to accelerate the fermentative decomposition thereof.
