PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress waving of a liquid surface when a liquid is fed. SOLUTION: At an upper part in a tank 10, a water feeding pipe 13 with a water feeding port 14 at its tip is arranged laterally and a float switch 20 which is turned on and off depending on whether or not a water level in the tank 10 is a set water level W is provided. A waving suppressing means 30 is arranged under the water feeding port 14 and is provided with a mounting box 31 with an exit 33 at its lower part sunk underwater. Inside of the box 31, a liquid pressure suppressing plate 35 made of a metallic mesh is spread in a horizontal posture at a level nearly coincident with the set water level W. Water from the water feeding port 14 is received by the plate 35 and is dropped so as to disperse to a large number of through holes. In addition, when the water level is raised to the vicinity of the set water level W, the water is dropped from a position nearly just over the water surface. Thus, water pressure, that is, impact to be added to the water surface, becomes small, and waving is suppressed to be small. Thus, the water surface on which a float 21 floats can be raised while keeping a still surface.
