PURPOSE: A side cross member structure of a vehicle is provided to restrain bending deformation of a center frame and to improve supporting force of a seal side for a side-on collision. CONSTITUTION: A side cross member structure for a vehicle has two side plates separated from each other in a regular distance with different sizes. A bottom plate is combined to a lower portion between side plates and is extended to a curved portion(7). A pipe is combined between side plates. A center frame(6) has the curved portion decreased the sectional area. Therefore, bending of the center frame is restrained when a collision load is applied and deformation of a dash is minimized. Support force for a load is increased and bond strength of the center frame and a seal side(8) is increased by changing the structure of a side cross member(10) as a single plate structure and a multiple plate structure.
