PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a print system connected with a plurality of printers in which inevitable problems of calibration, e.g. interruption of print processing upon performing calibration, are reduced. SOLUTION: With regard to each of a plurality of printers being connected through a network (S61, S66, S67), when information of the timing for performing next calibration is not present (S62) or the timing represented by that information has not yet reached (S63), a host computer obtains the information of the timing from that printer (S64) and registers that information (S65) and then sorts the timing information for performing calibration of respective printers thus registered in the order of the time to next calibration (S68). The sorted information is displayed on the screen of a user interface where the user can select such a printer as the time to next calibration is long and the possibility of interrupting print processing is low, for example. |
