PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a print system in which a required number of sheets of an image can be printed readily without requiring any troublesome operation. SOLUTION: In a photograph print mode where the latest image data not yet printed are printed based on print record information by simply depressing a 1 set button 15 provided in a printer 11 or any one of M, N set button 16 or 17 for setting the number of sheets, as required, or in other normal print mode, image data to be printed is read out only once from a memory card 43 and transmitted from a digital camera 1 to the printer 11. In the printing of a first set, a print mechanism 57 performs printing sequentially based on received image data which is then stored in an image RAM 55. In the printing of a second and subsequent sets, the image data stored in the image RAM 55 is read out and printed. |
