METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONVEYING HYDROGEN ABSORBING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of conveying a hydrogen absorbing material capable of safely conveying the powder and granular hydrogen absorbing material with rather simple equipment, and conveying equipment directly used for the method. SOLUTION: In this method of conveying the hydrogen absorbing material, the powder and granular hydrogen absorbing material M is conveyed from a hydrogen absorbing area 1a to a hydrogen release area 2a and the powder and granular hydrogen absorbing material M is conveyed by gas transportation of inert conveying gas CG to hydrogen. In the conveying equipment for hydrogen absorbing material, the powder and granular hydrogen absorbing material M is conveyed from a hydrogen absorbing container 1 to a hydrogen release container 2. The equipment comprises a first duct 3 for communicating the hydrogen absorbing container 1 to the hydrogen release container 2 and a first flowing device 9 for flowing the inert conveying gas CG to hydrogen in the first duct 3. The powder and granular hydrogen absorbing material M in the hydrogen absorbing container 1 is conveyed in the hydrogen release container 2 by the gas transportation of the conveying gas CG by the first flowing device 9.
