PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant, moisture absorbing base material which can reduce the weight and volume of a polymer absorbent, a sanitary paper material, or a nonwoven fabric material, can surely absorb and deodorize excrement, menstrual blood, or sweat, is excellent in feel of wear, and can form a sanitary napkin or an armpit sweat absorbing pad. SOLUTION: In the deodorant, a moisture absorbing base material, an artificial zeolite powder 30 μm or below in an average particle size, at least 70 m<2> /g in a specific surface area, at least 160 mg in base substitution capacity (meq/100 g), and at least 50% in moisture absorption capacity is contained in an absorbent in which an upper part absorption sheet comprising the sanitary paper material or the nonwoven fabric material holding an absorption mat of the polymer absorbent and a lower part absorption sheet are laminated, the sanitary paper material forming the absorbent, or the nonwoven fabric material in a weight ratio of at least 30 g per 1 m<2> of the sanitary paper material or the nonwoven fabric material and is bonded by a water-soluble adhesive. |
