GANTRY SYSTEM, X-RAY CT SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE CT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a deviation in the rotary center of scanning and a position deviation in the longitudinal direction of rails at a scanning position. SOLUTION: A gantry system is provided with a pair of the travelling rails (3a and 3b) and a gantry (1) in an X-ray CT system to be moved along the rails (3a and 3b). The gantry system also includes a linear guide rail (4) arranged in a direction along the travelling rails (3a and 3b) and linear guide blocks (42 and 43) which are arranged in the gantry (1) and freely slidably fitted to the linear guide rail (4).
