PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost by decreasing the area being occupied by a drive transistor on a print head substrate thereby reducing the area of the substrate. SOLUTION: The fluid ejector comprises a drive circuitry (85) for heating elements (56) wherein at least a part of the drive circuitry is arranged in proximity to the heating elements within a range of 60μm therefrom.
