SUPPORT MEMBER ARRANGEMENT METHOD OF MEMBRANE ANCHORING BAR OF MEMBRANE-TYPE NATURAL GAS CARRIER

PURPOSE: A support member arrangement method of a membrane-anchoring bar of a membrane-type natural gas carrier is provided to reduce the number of the manufacturing and installing processes and to reduce the number of members. CONSTITUTION: Anchoring bars are attached on one side of a cargo hold of a cofferdam bulkhead plate(2), and brackets(3) are attached to the opposite inner surface of the cofferdam bulkhead plate. The anchoring bar transmits force given to a membrane, and the cofferdam bulkhead plate disperses the force of the anchoring bar, and the bracket transmits the force of the cofferdam bulkhead plate to the peripheral structure. Bulkhead plate-reinforcements(4) are attached to the opposite inner surface of the cofferdam bulkhead plate with the anchoring bars. The bulkhead plate-reinforcement is additionally attached between brackets parallel to the bracket. The bulkhead plate-reinforcement transmits the force of the cofferdam bulkhead plate to the peripheral structure.
