<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling recovered polyester which is advantageous in handling of solvent, distillation of the degradation product and degradation rate, without suffering from troubles such as alkali resistance of a reactor or a tank for containing the product. SOLUTION: The method sequentially carries out a filling step filling the recovered polyester into the reactor with methyl acetate, and a degradation reaction step heating and retaining the reactor at a predetermined temperature to decompose the polyester to predetermined degradation products.</p> |
