PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic instrument with which three modes, i.e., a normal B-mode, an SCW Doppler mode and a high-frequency mode are processed by one delay additional system and also a circuit scale is reduced. SOLUTION: In the case of the B-mode, echo signals received by vibrators 100a-d are inputted to a reception beam former 23 as they are, processed by B-mode and displayed in a display part 32. In the case of the SCW Doppler mode, the echo signals received by vibrators 100c-d are inputted to phase detectors 24 and 25. A signal generator 34 outputs a signal being same in frequency but different in phase by 90 deg. to the echo signals. The output signals of the phase detectors 24 and 25 are inputted to the reception beam former 23 by way of switches SW1-4. When the frequency is high in the echo signal, the signals of two adjacent channels are added and inputted to the phase detectors 24 and 25. The signal generator 34 outputs a signal for shifting the echo signals into the ones with a lower-frequency. |
