METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ASSISTING USER TO BE SEATED AND STAND UP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person who even has difficulty in keeping standing alone to safely make action of standing up or sitting down without needing a caretaker. SOLUTION: A seat surface member 5 is installed on a tip part of a rod 7a of a hydraulic pressure cylinder 7 installed to be slightly inclined. This seat surface member 5 is set positioned to get in contact with the hip part 2a of the person 2 in a standing state from the underside. The person 2 can thus put his/her weight onto the seat surface member 5 while standing. The seat surface member 5 is kept in contact with the hip part 2a of the person 2 through the whole processes of action of sitting down and standing up. The action can thus be assisted without giving feel of unrest to the person 2 at all.
