PURPOSE: A device for storing a vehicle identification number is provided to prevent a vehicle from being sold illegally through conversion or change by directly carving a vehicle identification number plate and inputting the identification number to an ECU(Electronic Control Unit). CONSTITUTION: A device for storing a vehicle identification number comprises an ECU(10) to prevent a vehicle identification number by outer conditions from being erased or eliminated after the vehicle identification number is input and stored, and a scanner(20) to make the vehicle identification number stored in the ECU input by a communication signal and read. Thus, illegal selling of a vehicle by conversion or change is prevented. |
