PURPOSE: A method for a web casting and a system thereof are provided to enable each broadcaster to execute a discriminative web casting based on personalized schedule information scheduled by many broadcasters. CONSTITUTION: A broadcaster operates a media file upload unit of a broadcaster computer, converts a file to be used for a broadcasting into a media file adapted to a broadcasting, and uploads the converted file to a broadcasting sending unit through a network. A media file server receives the media file from the broadcaster computer and classifies/stores the media file according to channels by many broadcasters(S1). The broadcaster operates a channel schedule unit of the broadcaster computer, schedules media files, and uploads/registers schedule information to the broadcasting sending unit. A schedule database classifies the schedule information according to channels and stores the schedule information(S2). A controller accesses the schedule database, extracts each media file from the media file server, and transmits the media files to a streaming server(S3). A viewer operates a media file reproduction unit included in a viewer computer or connects to a web server connected through a network and requests a channel connection. The controller connects a corresponding viewer computer to a connection-requested channel in accordance with a channel connection request being inputted from the viewer computer(S4). The streaming server executes a streaming output of a media file being inputted from the controller to the connected client computer(S5).
