BUNDLE TUBE TYPE OPTICAL CABLE

PURPOSE: A bundle tube type optical cable is provided to enhance a waterproof characteristic and a shock absorbing characteristic by coating an absorbing material on an outer surface of a central tube. CONSTITUTION: An absorbing material(110) is coated on an outer surface of a central tube(104). The central tube is formed with a plastic material. One more optical fiber bundle tubes(106) are inserted into the inside of the central tube. The optical fiber bundle tube includes two or more coated fibers. The central tube is covered with an external coating layer(100). The external coating layer is formed with the plastic material. One or more metallic or nonmetallic tension lines(108) are formed in the inside of the external coating layer.
