PREPARATION METHOD OF W-CU COMPOSITE POWDER

PURPOSE: A method for preparing W-Cu composite powder with improved sintering degree by using W metal powder and Cu oxide powder, thereby increasing mixing degree of W and Cu in preparation of W-Cu composite material by liquid sintering method is provided. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of W-Cu composite powder comprises the processes of ball milling the mixture after mixing tungsten metal (W) powder with copper oxide (CuO) powder; and reducing the produced mixed powder under dry hydrogen atmosphere at a temperature of 200 deg.C or more, wherein the ball milling step is preferably performed in such a way that particle size of tungsten after ball milling is 100 nm or less, wherein a blending ratio of the tungsten metal powder and copper oxide powder is preferably W-15Cu (wt.%) or less, wherein the mixed powder produced after the ball milling is reduced in the temperature range of 250 to 400 deg.C, and wherein the ball milling step is performed under nitrogen gas or argon gas atmosphere.
