PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recording on an indication recording medium which enables recording of fixed indication of a desired layout frame, design presentation, a fixed phrase and others on the medium to be issued, in a non- rewritable manner, and further enables rewritable indication recording of desired data. SOLUTION: The recording method is provided for the indication recording medium which has a base, a light-absorbing layer formed at least on one side of the base, a thermal coloring layer formed on the light-absorbing layer, a heat insulating intermediate layer formed on the thermal coloring layer and a reversible thermal coloring layer formed on the intermediate layer. On the occasion when the fixed indication is provided on the indication recording medium, a desired portion of the thermal coloring layer is made to color to provide the indication by irradiating the portion with a laser light. On the occasion when rewritable variable information is indicated on the medium, a thermal head is brought into contact with a desired portion of the medium so that a desired portion of the reversible thermal coloring layer be made to color, and thereby the variable information is indicated. |
