PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a hue shift which alters the appearance of pixels in accordance with a movement direction of a printing head at a printing time of an ink jet printer. SOLUTION: The printing system is provided with a first color map for mapping data outputted when the printing head moves in a first direction, and a second color map for mapping data outputted when the printing head moves in a second direction. In other words, output data related to a printing output corresponding to each pixel position is based on the direction in which the printing head moves (that is, from left to right or from right to left) when the pixel is printed. Therefore, the printing output is mapped reflecting the direction of the printing head and a sequence in which different ink colors are applied to a medium. |
