PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein paper is not smoothly carried and paper jam is caused because a conventional paper carrying guide is formed to be long in a paper width direction and to be thin, the paper carrying guide is supported at both end parts of a paper width direction, and warp is easy to be generated. SOLUTION: This paper carrying guide 11 is openably/closably mounted on a main body 1a. A projecting warp straightening rib 11e is formed in the paper carrying guide 11. In the main body 1a, an engagement hole 1c fittable with the warp straightening rib 11e is formed. When the paper carrying guide 11 is closed, the warp straightening rib 11e is fitted into the engagement hole 1c of the main body 1a, and the paper carrying guide 11 is positioned to the main body 1a.
