PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-open lid of a stay-on-tab type EOE lid in which it shows a superior finger engaging characteristic or a superior pop value and even a child can easily open the can. SOLUTION: There is provided an easy-open lid showing a superior can opening characteristic characterized in that a tab having a finger engaging space d (a depth in a height direction of each of a lower surface of a rivet fixing table base part and a lower surface of a finger engaging part) of 10 mm or more is fixed to the lid. Preferably, a pop force acting point (or an acting line) for performing an initial opening (pop) of the can when the can is to be opened and a tearing force acting point (or an acting line) for opening (tearing) of the lid on a score contour after initial opening are separated from each other. The pop force acting point (or the acting line) is arranged inside the tearing force acting point (or the acting line), and a pop force lever coefficient (Lf/Lp), i.e., a ratio between a distance Lf ranging from the can opening force acting fulcrum to the finger engaging position and a distance Lp ranging from the can opening force acting fulcrum to a pop force acting point is set to be 4.5 or more.
