PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique capable of giving an irregularity wherein a summer wood part having a dark color tone part becomes a recessed part and a spring wood part having a light color tone part becomes a projected part as a surface pattern of a decorative sheet. SOLUTION: A woody plate 1b having a surface irregularity wherein a soft spring wood part 2 becomes selectively the recessed part 2a and a hard summer wood part 3 becomes a projected part by pressurizing a woody plate 1a, is prepared. After shaving the surface of the woody plate to a bottom of the recessed part of the spring wood to make an almost flat surface, by impregnating the surface of the woody plate 1c made the almost flat surface with a liquid by applying it, a woody plate 1d wherein the spring wood part of which the density is raised by pressurizing is selectively inflated to make the projected part 2b, is obtained.
