PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency, cost down and coating precision by automating the application of a coating material on a worked part. SOLUTION: This apparatus for applying a liquid chemical for worked wood is constituted so that a worked condition including a worked position of wood is detected by sensors 13 and 14 after liquid chemical treatment while transporting the worked wood W in which a projecting part, a hole, a recessed part or the like is worked.
