PURPOSE: A suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner is provided to brush away dust on bedclothes and to efficiently suck foreign material. CONSTITUTION: A body casing(10) has an opened suction port at the bottom. A rotor(36) is rotatably installed at a suction space(30) communicated with the suction port, and has a plurality of dusting protrusions(38). A dust collecting envelope(14) is installed at a dust collecting space(12) formed at the rear side of a partition(24) and communicated with the suction space through an inlet(25). A driving motor(20) is installed at a driving motor unit(21) formed at the rear side of the partition, and generates suction force.
