PIPE LIN FITTING WITH SEAL FOR SPINDLE

摘要

FIELD: pipe line fittings; quick disconnection of pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: proposed fitting has body, cover and hole and gland chamber which provided with packing and sealing ring. Movable unit consists of shut-off member and spindle extending outside through gland chamber. Sealing ring is made form non- ferrous metal or alloy and is located in gland chamber. Distance between point of application of concentrated lateral load of sealing ring and point of application of axial compressive force of shut-off member ranges from 0.35 to 0.4 of length of spindle. EFFECT: increased service life; enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
