PURPOSE: A driving apparatus of an electro-luminescence display panel is provided to improve contrast of an electro-luminescence element by connecting a red luminant, a green luminant, and a blue luminant to different power sources, respectively. CONSTITUTION: An ITO electrode(12) a multitude of red luminants(R1,R2), a multitude of green luminants(G1,G2), and a multitude of blue luminants(B1,B2). A cathode layer(24) lies at right angles to the ITO electrode(12). The cathode layer(24) has a strip shape. The cathode layer(24) is connected with a scan drive circuit(52). A controller(50) receives a data signal and transmits output signals to the scan drive circuit(52) and a data drive circuit(54). The scan drive circuit(52) outputs a scan waveform to the cathode layer(24). The data drive circuit(54) transmits a red data signal, a green data signal, and a blue data signal according to a signal of the controller(50).
