PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging tray for conveying components which can house components having fragile parts and can carry them without damage. SOLUTION: The packaging tray 1 for conveying components has at least one component storage recess 2 wherein the trays can be piled in multiple stages with a component 3 received in the recess. The component storage recess has a gradient surface, and the component is supported by a linear contact region where a periphery of one of surfaces of the component and the gradient surface are in linear contact.
